Download and installation as required

By using the Workflow Service, updates are downloaded and installed on a central deployer according to a defined schedule or when required. The DeskCenter Management Suite ensures an optimal and need-based deployment of updates, because only patches are downloaded and installed that are detected as required. Furthermore, the DeskCenter Management Suite supports updates for several languages of the OS and applications.

Rule system and patch groups

The systems can be classified in patch groups with different installation rights for updates – updates can be installed or uninstalled anytime. Detailed overviews provide information on which patches and updates are, or are not, installed on which systems.
